Since DICE unveiled Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam, a multiplayer-only expansion at E32010, both the studio and publisher EA’s been quiet on details.
Well all that’s about the cease as Battlefield Community Manager zh1nt0 says, “I am going to Tokyo Game Show to showcase Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam for the first time.”
He wrote this on the studio’s official blog and reiterated the original feature set, which includes, “4 brand new maps built in Frostbite, as well as Vietnam specific weapons, vehicles, persistence, unlocks, and achievements/trophies.”
We’ll keep you posted as more develops concerning the expansion. Tokyo Game Show is already looking stellar.
Video Thirst:
To quench your thirst until TGS, here’s a look at the trailer for the Vietnam expansion coming our way soon. ”
In the vid, the helicopter’s hovering above but you can’t see it, yet. A river’s between coconut trees and other elements of nature. Things seem peaceful, quiet – it’s a sunny day. Suddenly the helicopter you couldn’t see’s in plain sight and raws past you like an army dead set on its mission.
Then, of course, bullets, guns, missiles – and all that. The pack’s supposed to hit this winter, but judging by how busy DICE have been, you never know. TGS, then.
Quench it.
