In the videogames business, gamers reward awesome. If your game sucks, it’ll most likely fail hard, however if it’s a well developed masterpiece, you’ll likely earn anywhere from $500 million to $1 billion.
Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption’s looking to earn Take-Two over $1 billion.
Take-Two confirmed last night that it’s westerner had sold 6.9 million since it went on sale in May on PS3 and Xbox 360.
The firm’s revenue saw a 273 percent year-over-year increase for the quarter ending July 31st, kudos to Red Dead Redemption’s massive success.
Revenue now stands at $354.1 million compared to $94.9 million the prior year. Income from the period rose to $12.1 million in stark comparison to last year’s loss of $58.3 million.
For the nine months ended July 31st, net revenue was $785.3 million, compared to $418.5 million for the same period a year ago.

a little variety would of been nice!
when are developers going to create every level from scratch, instead of creating 1 or 2 than just using cut and paste?
