Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption’s looking to earn Take-Two over $1 billion.

Take-Two confirmed last night that it’s westerner had sold 6.9 million since it went on sale in May on PS3 and Xbox 360.

Revenue now stands at $354.1 million compared to $94.9 million the prior year. Income from the period rose to $12.1 million in stark comparison to last year’s loss of $58.3 million.

For the nine months ended July 31st, net revenue was $785.3 million, compared to $418.5 million for the same period a year ago.

not bad for a mediocre game.
just goes to show, name brand is everything these days!
it could be a POS, but as long as it has the halo, COD, R* brand on it than it will sell like its out off fashion!

True, but you must admit the game was good.

it was ok, it was far too R* like.
    repetitive, and boring!
every mission had you hopping on your horse, riding somewhere and kicking the daylights out of someone.
a little variety would of been nice!
when are developers going to create every level from scratch, instead of creating 1 or 2 than just using cut and paste?

That’s where you come in, bro.
