Mafia II Will Be “Profitable” Says Take-Two, L.A. Noire Delay Confirmed

Against all odds, Take-Two has gone on record stating 2K Games gangsta title, Mafia II will be profitable.

“Based upon the initial launch, we expect this to be another profitable title for Take-Two,” the firm’s CEO Ben Feder said in its Q3 financial call last night. No sales figures for the game were divulged, however.

The company also confirmed the delay of L.A. Noire. The game, Team Bondi 50s title was set for a fall release according to a tweet let loose by Rockstar. It’ll now see a release in the first half of 2011.

im so, so, SO disappointed in mafia 2!
NEVER in the 15+ years of gaming, NEVER have i played such a buggy game such as mafia 2!
i swear to god last night i was 2mms away from picking up my computer and pegging it out the freaking window, than ringing up 2K and leaping through the phone and rip the guys head off!
god they have pissed me off so much, did they put any optimization in this game what so ever?
    any?
    just a drop?
i cant play mafia 2 for more than half a hour otherwise i get a error and the game closes causing me to loose any progress from the latest save.
honestly, ive spent more time redoing missions because of that bug than i have doing new ones!

Shame, but they’re right, it might sell good enough to make them profits

You win some and lose some. Not all will ever be great, unless you’re Hideo Kojima
