Xbox Live Gold Subscription Raised In US, UK, Canada And Mexico

You mean you never saw this coming?

Yep, Microsoft’s just announced that come November 1st, it’s raising the cost of an Xbox Live Gold subscription in Canada, Mexico, the US and the UK.

This according to Major Nelson, saying MS would like to thank the “loyal members and give you the opportunity to lock in your current price with an additional discount.”

So, that’s it. No end in sight to the “gamer-raping”, I suppose.

and M$ reason for this is “live has evolved.”
    really?
added features to a service warrants a price hike?
so why has the PSN and wii remained free?
they have not added features over the years?
god this is EXACTLY why i hate M$!
they charge for everything, they offer features many others offer but instead of following the sheep and give it for free they charge you for it.
office a prime example, there is heaps of word processors, email programs, data base programs, everything M$ charges you for office you can get free with other companies!
hell im having a problem with vista now something they make and if i want them to help me fix it i have to pay them 80 bucks!
    WTF?
they screw up, make a faulty product and I HAVE TO PAY THEM????????????????
why hasent M$ had the pants sued off them yet?
i thought price gouging was illegal!
if any other company tried what M$ gets away with they would of been bankrupt years ago!

ahh, what fitting timing just saw the overpriced new controller.
    65 bucks! for what!?
a new “revolutionary” D pad and concave triggers?
wow, M$ takes price gouging to a whole new level!!!!!

thats the problem, they keep getting away with it so they wont stop till people grow some balls and stand up to them!
just like the idiots justifying the XBLA price hike!
what must M$ do to get these idiots to stand up and say no sorry thats not acceptable?
