For those of you who didn’t know, GamesThirst is located in the United States Virgin Islands on the Island of St. Croix, and yesterday, we were struck by an unforgiving storm named Earl.
It rendered everything in its path unworkable, taking power in many areas of our beautiful Island. Things are getting back to normal slowly but surely, however.
Oh, and Earl? Well, that’s my brother’s name.
The storm came so unexpectedly that before we could get prepared, it was already upon us. And when it was time to update the site, power was already out and internet service was done. We’re working on getting connection via satellite instead, though, so something like this won’t throw us off in the future.
To everyone, I apologize and thanks for your patience. We’ll be in full swing on tomorrow.
