Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow Will Ship On 2 Discs For Xbox 360

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is coming. Coming to your PS3 and Xbox 360 this fall. Everything should be identical, except how many discs the Xbox 360 version ships on: 2.

The game’s also a day long. Yes 24hrs, and the longest cutscene, the last, is 14 minutes in length.

The game’s producer, David Cox told all this to CVG recently.

“Microsoft actually sent their tech guys to the studio to see the game and look at [how we're] compressing it, but they said: ‘Okay, it’s good. You’re doing all you can,” Cox said.

“I think it’s something Microsoft are going to experience more and more – that they need to help developers overcome the storage problem.

Our longest one is 14 minutes,” he continued, “which is the end sequence… The game’s around 24 hours long and every level’s different. We have so much variety and we re-use very little assets.”

According to Cox, the Xbox 360 version of the game offers an install option in-game to allow players to play the title in full on the second disc.

Doesn’t sound like much of a big deal to me, you?

ive never played a Castlevania game so this should be a good intro!
though i have to admit from what i have seen it does look epic!
i just hope its a little more like darksiders and a little less like GOW3.

Yeah, I’ve been a long time fan of the series, here’s to hoping this one turns out to be the best, ever. If not, like you usually say, I can’t be held responsible for in actions….. They wont’ be too friendly.

    Where’s my holster?

LOL, well lets hope the XBLA game that released today wont be a indication of this, has not been getting good reviews at all!
i just finished playing the first DLC for alan wake, and wow just wow!
cant wait till the next piece comes out, as usual they left off on a massive cliff hanger the bastards!
i think this is my favorite story in a video game ever!
so unappreciated alan wake is, people dont realize how much depth is in the story!
