At ComiCon, Halo: Reach proves why it’s the biggest thing happening September 14th, literally.
Bungie’s released tons of information on its upcoming Halo swan song.
Halo: Reach XBox 360 Bundle’s A Go:
Here’s your chance to get your hands on an Xbox 360 with its most popular and recognizable franchise. The bundle includes 250Gb Xbox 360 Slim, a copy of Halo: Reach, two wireless controllers cables and more. It’s available now for preorder for $400, and releases on September 14, a worldwide release.
Firefight Is Back With A Few New Tricks:
The mode which first debuted in Halo 3: ODST will be back in Halo: Reach, only this time Bungie’s got a few new tricks up its sleeves:
There’s a new play type dubbed: “Gruntpocalypse” which is basically war all the time. Shooting, shooting and more shooting. You like that eh?
“Versus Firefight” was also revealed, which, as its name states lets you play on the Covenant side, as well as be a Spartan against a horde of Covenant soldiers.
Forge 2.0:
This is where things get really interesting, Forge 2.0 is nothing short of amazing and massive. The mode’s an editing tool to create and edit your own maps, debuted in Halo 3 in 2007, but now, it’s much bigger and better.
There’s more customization options, more tools, more ways to improve your multiplayer experience, more depth, and a whole lot more.
The game’s an Xbox 360 exclusive, of course.
Video Thirst:

i think thats a bit of a rip off really!
they charge you 550AUD for the LE 360 bundle and it does not come with the LE edition of reach, only the standard edition.
so i can buy a standard 360 with 2 controllers my choice of 4 games from EBs list for 400.
or i can get the reach console with 2 controllers and only reach as the game for 550!
wow, M$ really know how to rip their customers off!!!!!
i mean yea, its reach but just because its going to sell like hot cakes does not give M$ the excuse to penny pinch like that!
Well it’s a big rip off in AU. Totally. But then again, all these guys care about is the almighty dollar, so…
i dont get it, why are we paying a extra 150 bucks for a skin which i think looks worse than the original piano black finish!
i mean if it was signed by bungie or looked really cool with a custom paint job than ok, but it just has a imprint and silver coat thats worth a extra 150 bucks?
No it’s not, but they don’t care.
