Crackdown 2 is one of the most anticipated Xbox 360 titles on the market, and although the game will be released this coming Tuesday, no reviews have gone live. That situation has just changed.
Gamer Magazine has given the game a 4.5/5. That’s nothing short of awesome.
The developers of Crackdown 2 were recently talking about the limits and benefits of the Xbox 360, an interesting read. According to them, Crackdown 2 will be much better than the first, and gamers should expect to be marveled by the latest installment.
Apparently, we’re not the only ones who’ve seen the review, one guy on this forum said:
“Received a new gaming magazine in the mail and just as I was hoping, Crackdown 2 was reviewed scoring a 4.5 / 5 “…will surely be a big killer of personal productivity and spare time during the summer.”
Crackdown 2 was developed by Ruffian Games It’ll be available exclusively for the Xbox 360.
nice to see it getting some high praise, some of the previews i have seen latley have been less than positive.

ill be buying it because i love open world games.
weather i enjoy it, or take it back the next day is a different story.
my expectations are not exactly high though, which is a shame i really wanted this to be a big game.
its looking more like crackdown 1.6 not crackdown 2!
crackdown is what 3 years old now, this looks almost exactly the same!
they only spent 14 months i think they said making this game, and you know what it shows!
maybe if they spent more time on this, it would of been the game it should of been.
i just cant understand why they spent so little time on it!
they could of made it so, so, so much better!
especially with APB releasing soon!
its competition, the crackdown developers are working on APB so you would think they would want to show them how its done!
oh well mafia 2 will have to do for my AAA open world fix!

got the game on Tuesday and sadly my worries were correct.
crackdown 2 almost looks exactly the same as crackdown 1.
the weapons, graphics, sounds design, environment, level design everything is the same!
if it was not for the different levels and new orbs you would not be able to tell this is crackdown 2.
its allot of fun, just like the original but im so disappointed they did not add or change or improve anything!
plus all the complaints people had with the original are still there, the controls are still as infuriating as hell!
i played it for 2 hours today, and my throat is sore from screaming at my controller!
there that annoying!!!!!!!
