What cross game chat? Valves planning on allowing PS3 and PC/Mac owners to play with or against each other. Cross-compatibility is a go, it seems.
Well at least they’re “gunning” for it.
When questioned on the matter of allowing cross compatibility between Steamworks and Steam, specifically playing co-op on a computer while someone else plays on a PS3, Valve’s Eric Johnson replied:
“[It is] something the team is gunning for.”
Mike Dunkle, Valve developer, reiterated the company’s stance, saying “the plan is you will be able to play between console and PC.”
The game was announced as coming also to PS3 by Valve boss, Gabe Newell, who literally brought down E3 when he appeared at Sony’s presser. Oh how the times have changed.
Expect the game next year for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, simultaneously.

we dont have any where near enough puzzle games this gen.
everything shooter this, shooter that, a little action, little racing and thats about it.
we need way more platforming games, way more horror games, and way more puzzle games!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, I’d really like to see how it’ll all work though.
