Whoa: New Xbox 360 Slim Sold Out And It’s Not Even Out Yet (UPDATE)

UPDATE: The new Xbox 360 is now back in stock but it was sold out at the moment the story was done and during the day. At this rate, it seems MS will have trouble keeping up with demand.

Original Story: Wow, Microsoft’s new redesigned Xbox 360 Slim has hardly been out for a few hours and it’s already hard to find.

Today in LA, the software giant showed off for the first time the new system and gave everyone in the a console for free. But if you’ve been wanting to purchase the thing, and went online to pre-order it, you’d be hard pressed to find one.

The console topped amazon’s best sellers list, only to go back down because it sold out.

It looks like the Xbox 360 has got its grove back. The console has been on a deep ever since Sony announced the PS3 Slim. Tables turning again?

Maybe not, but this sure must be pleasing to MS.

    wow what a disappointing day this has been!
    i was worried M$ were going to focus on kenetik and nothing else and looks like i was right.
    only thing that really shocked me was the 360 exclusive being made by crytek.
    never saw that coming in a million years!!!!!!!!!!

    thing that shocked me the most is i thought EA owned crytek, so to see them working with M$ exclusively i thought would be impossible.
    i guess what they say is true, money does talk!!!!
