Bulletstorm Will Have An Online Component

Game Designer Cliff Bleszinski confirmed in GTTV that there will be some sort of online component  in the upcoming Bulletstorm. Cliffy couldn’t exactly confirm what it’s going to be but assures gamers that single player campaign won’t be the only aspect of the game. This news will probably add more sales from those gamers who demand more replay ability before dropping the cash.

We’re not talking about any sort of multiplayer-ish or co-op plans.

I can confirm that there will be something but we’re not saying what it is.

If you’re going to make a game in 2010-2011 you need to ship with something more than just the regular name. You need to have something to extend the playability so the players aren’t just playing it for a couple of weeks, so they’re playing it for a couple of months.

” I din’t say there will be multiplayer, there will be some sort of online component. What i can confirm to you is that the game will not just ship with the campaign.

ahhhhhh i cant wait for this its looking all sorts of crazy!!!
too many games these days focus too much on realism and dont do things because there unrealistic, because of this they turn out dead boring!
for example just cause 2 may technically be a bad game it has lots of bugs, bad AI, level design and missions are stuffed.
technically its a really bad game, but fun wise its the BEST! game.
and thats all that matteres, afterall we play games to have fun not for realism right?
well i know i sure do! i could not care less if a game is a technical masterpiece as long as its fun im happy.
that is why in my books KZ2 is a bad game, its boring and repetitive as ^%$#.
KZ2 is a perfect example of just because a games a technological masterpiece does not mean its a good game.
a game needs to be fun to be a good game.

And I agree, devs could add all sorts of technical stuff to make the game more real, but if it’s boring then that’s just a waste of time.

exactly, thats the main problem with KZ2 and i really hope gets fixed with KZ3.
KZ2 is way to linear, repetitive and well boring.
they need to open the game up, not open world as such but like alpha protocol make it that instead of taking cover poping shooting rinse and repeat, make it that you can flank your enemies take them from a far, keep the gameplay changing all the time to keep things fresh and fun.

The devs did say that gamers will be able to do exactly what you’re talking about in K3 so….

    We’ll see.
