For Sega, a Western Yakuza 4 release might just be imminent as the company said that initial sales of Yakuza 3 in the US and Europe has been “positive”.
Though no numbers were released, Sega community rep, RubyEclipse congratulated gamers for going out and supporting the game. He said they did a “gread job”.
“As was mentioned a couple times above, SEGA doesn’t generally release any specific numbers in terms of game sales,” he said.
“So, while I’m not able to give you any numbers, I can at least still confirm that the initial sales were really positive, and that all of the fans who jumped in to support the franchise in the west did a great job.”
Hence the hint. Go buy Yakuza 3 if you want Yakuza 4. It’s that simple.
