There’s a new Legend of Zelda title under development as we speak for the Wii, that we know but Vitality Sensor functionality? News to our ears, that’s according to Shigeru Miyamoto who hinted at the possibility.
“Whenever we are going to use any new device it is possible to expand the appeal to those who are new to the videogaming world,” Miyamoto told TMgames before accepting his BAFTA fellowship on Friday.
“At the same time, however, it is also fun to think of ways in which we might apply that new technology to existing forms of gameplay – just like the way we are working on the new Legend Of Zelda together with Wii MotionPlus.”
The boss later added:“Maybe you might like to ask me to incorporate the Vitality Sensor into Zelda so that as you become more scared, the enemies become even tougher.”
No release date has been announced yet but according to Nintendo President Satoru Iwata, the game should be out later this year.
