25 Million Have Joined The Modern Warfare 2 Re-Spawn Action

Not many will be surprised by this, but Robert Bowling, Infinity’s director of communications/community manager has said via a tweet that they’ve “just hit 25 million unique players on Modern Warfare 2″.

He later confirmed to Joystiq it was so, and that majority of the players have enlisted on Xbox Live while PS3 gamers come in a close second. As for the PC it’s in third place, however it still enlisted millions.

But truth be told, not all of the 25 million virtual soldiers are actually on the battlefield or active, and rightfully so. Only a foolish army would lead all its troops to war at once, you need reserves.

Still a staggering number though.
