Sony Stock Up In The Midst Of Global Crisis

It’s been broadcast around the world now, Sony is facing its toughest times yet, we know. But amidst the global crisis, the giant’s stock is still on the uptick.

A quick look at the its stock (via CNBC) and you’ll notice the company from the land of the rising sun hasn’t missed a beat.

In fact it rose 0.7% today, (+2.05%). Sony (SNE), is now at 34.81 per share. This goes to show the overall strength of the giant even in the midst of such an unforgiving situation.

To be fair, Microsoft and Nintendo’s are also up, [MSFT 29.02 up 0.35 (+1.22%)] and [NTDOY 35.12 up 1.25 (+3.69%)] respectively. However none of the aforementioned companies are facing what Sony is dealing with as we speak.

It’s a sign that investors are yet confident in the giant, and that it can and will get over this tempest.

We’ll keep you posted.
