Kingdom Hearts III Will Happen Confirms Nomura

Yes, fans of the much celebrated franchise have been waiting painstakingly for another installment of Kingdom Hearts, but to this today, nothing. Hope lives though, Tetsuya Nomura gives it a fighting chance.

He told Famitsu that fans and partners have been pushing him for a sequel.

“Fans and partners alike have been pressing us for it, so we’ll work to realize it as soon as possible,” Nomura said.

The San is currently working on Final Fantasy Versus XIII for PS3 and did not mention whether or not the new Kingdom Hearts would be multiplatform or PlayStation exclusive like the ones before it. Still, it’s too early to even get excited, but at least it’s good news to know that one day, probably when we’re dead and gone because of old age, a new Kingdom Hearts will arise.

Hope our kids enjoy it.
