Yeah, Sony had better put some ad $s behind this game, I mean why risk $20 million on it and then abandon the most important part: Marketing!

It’s kind of funny you mentioned that about Mass Effect 2. I had a friend that told me he saw a commercial for it, he couldn’t recall the game’s name though(until I mentioned it).
I think he saw the commercial during the Saints vs. Vikings game, and he said it was like a watching a movie or something.

I don’t think he actually liked it though, as I think he thought it was annoying…I’ll have to ask him about that again!

Heavy Rain is going to be historical when we look back on this gen I agree with all your points Ernice Sony took a big gamble on this and now gamers need to do their part in buying the game and getting the word out. I haven’t seen one ad for Heavy Rain and that worrys me but if you look at how Sonys server crashed today from people trying to get the demo I think we are dealing with a lot of people who have been following this game and are hardcore gamers but to cross the threshold into casual gamers they need to start advertising like crazy right now they need to look at Mass Effect 2 I saw an ad every 10 mins for three weeks leading up to it and Heavy Rain deserves the same ad revenue.

I wonder how they’re going to advertise this game. I’m glad to see Sony allowing a developer to try new things. I will say though, right now I can’t afford it.

I haven’t purchased a game since December, and that game is still wrapped up in the case, not opened.
