PS3 To Realize “The Best YoY Growth In January”

Sony’s PS3 has been traveling a good road lately and according to one analyst, the best is yet to come.

Sterne Agee analyst, Arvind Bhatia said the PS3 will keep its momentum in January.

The analyst said Sony “will have the best year-over-year growth growth in January among all consoles.”

He also believes that Wii sales are suffering because of hardware shortages, which in turn is affecting overall January sales. “Our checks show Nintendo’s Wii is currently experiencing meaningful shortages. We view this as temporary but expect it to negatively affect January hardware sales.”

Bhatia said Sterne Agee checked its channels and it found just 28% of the stores they called in January had the Wii available with 47% of GameStop’s stores stocked, faring much better than other outlets.

If I were an investor in Nintendo stock, I would just like to know why they can’t meet demand still 3 years after the console released.

Being that I’m not an investor in any of the main console companies, now would probably be a good time to buy some Sony stock.

I wish I could print money out of thin air like my government!

Dude I never thought of that buying stock from Sony would be a great idea right now with ps3 sales going crazy and Sony 3D HDTV’s coming and Sony being only one supporting 3D. If I only had the money this is a great idea.
