Okay don’t go jumping all around the place just yet, it’s only speculation, but yesterday, Cliffy Bleszinski of Epic Games promised some ‘megaton face-melting news’ which I can only assume will be Gears 3, either that or a brand new IP.
The closest date to look for this “huge” announcement will be at Microsoft’s X-10 event in San Fransisco next month.
Few days back, Cliff tweeted that there was big news coming, which turned out to be the featuring of Marcus and Dom of Gears of War in Lost Planet 2. He said he thought it was big news but yet still there’s something bigger:
“Yes, that’s the news, I said kick-ass, which I think it is. [But] keep your eyes open for megaton face-melting news,” he tweeted.
I know of nothing else that Epic Games has up its sleeves that’d be so ‘megaton’. Must be the new Gears folks, can’t wait for the reveal.
