I think this whole “games need to have an interesting storyline or I’m gonna stop playing” thing is kinda out of hand. I play games because they’re games. I don’t care if Yahtzee has a story. I’m not concerned with whether or not Monopoly makes sense. It’s fun. It’s part of what’s so annoying about people who complain about the story in Mario Platformers. They’re supposed to be fun. pure fun nothing else and in that at least they succeed.

That said I fully appreciate a good story. Huge fan of FFIV and I’m loving Fallout 3, I even liked RE4. I also admit that while I haven’t been drawn to take the dive over Halo or Gears. I would buy a 360 for Mass Effect, and Alan Wake would be my second game. If I wasn’t holding out hope for Mass Effect on PS3 I might have already gone under.

I’ve been waiting for this game a very long time before it was announced for any platform. I’m very excited for it’s release! I disagree on the splinter cell comment for me no stealth game will top the metal gear games .

…….Those are just few but that’s an awesome box!

I bought my Xbox 360 to sell on Ebay. I sold it within a few days of purchase, still sealed up brand new. There hasn’t been any game really, that made me want to buy any console this generation.

I’ve enjoyed games, but there hasn’t been anything that I’ve seen that made me want to go out and purchase a system I didn’t have.

In my opinion, The real reason why Gamers play games is because they love games. It doesn’t matter what console it’s on.

However, I’m sticking to the PS3 is because that’s what my friends have.

This game will defintely be awesome I remember my friends talking about this game for years the xbox has some awesome exclusives and should steal some of Sony’s thunder in the future and imo some games look better on an xbox than a ps3 but this year has been ps3′s year so far with them holding the lion’s share of exclusives and it’s exciting to see what both consoles will release in their generation cycle.

Either way I am gonna pick up this game but I must say..

I am just not “pumped” about this game. It seems cool but even after watching all of the videos and reading every article I can it just doesn’t move me. I don’t know why. I want it to, I really do. Storytelling is very important to me and that seems to be the main focus of this game.

I felt the same about Dragon Age and after playing it(love it)I couldn’t believe I had any doubt, and I am usually a very optimistic person.

So, I hope this game kicks ass and sets a new level of storytelling in games. Please don’t let it turn out like Too Human.

My reason for buying a 360 was Mass Effect and I don’t regret ever getting one.
