PS3 owners have been waiting for a word, any word that would favor the arrival of Mass Effect 2 coming to PS3, however nothing solid has surfaced, only rumors and speculation. Well now it would seem Geoff Keighley has some inside information concerning the game’s arrival on PS3, and how it’s only a matter of time till this happens.
“Now the fact that [Mass Effect 2] is only on Xbox 360, a lot of debate now about whether it makes sense for publishers to make those games exclusive to a platform,” Keighley said, “I think the game will eventually come out for PlayStation 3 but they just can’t talk about it yet.”
Do you think Keighley is right? The game comes out next week for PC and Xbox 360, rumors have it that ME2 has been leaked on torrent sites, if true it could mean tens of thousands in lost dollars for EA and Bioware.

I think it will come to ps3 because why not it’s money in the bank for developers and publishers and especially in the tough economy now it makes no sense to stick to one console that has a limited install base. Personally I’d like to see every game multi-platform but sometimes it is not feasible for developers and the programmers making the code for each different system. Looking foward to hearing more on this because I keep seeing Mass Effect 2 ads one after another and it looks like it will be an awesome game.
Oh definitely, and the release trailer proved it. The reviews are starting to pour in (we’ll have ours soon) and it’s nothing but high scores for the game

I think it will come to the PS3
Dragon age was a big success on the PS3 and Bioware noticed it. i don’t see any reason it wouldn’t come to the PS3. It would bring in a whole lot of money for Bioware and EA. I know alot of PS3 users who would buy it Day 1

Here something to think about. If the PS3 owner don’t have a #60 they never played Mass Effect 1 and will be lost playing ME2. And ME1 will never come to the PS3. So why would you want to pick up the series starting with part two.
Well, EA did say that even if a gamer would only pick up Mass Effect 2, they won’t get lost.
I mean, don’t you think that there are people who never played part one who’ll be picking up the game? Of course there are, and Bioware must have had this in mind.
