My wife and I are playing through this game right now.

“My last complaint with this title is that aside from all the accidental deaths caused by each player, the game is far too easy.”

I don’t know about being too easy. I’ve died many, many, many, many times in the two player play-through with my wife.

I haven’t played any game with Mario in it since Smash Bros. for the N64 a few months ago; and nothing before that for at least 8 years. Got a bit of a dry spell for Mario when Nintendo went controller-change-happy. Nintendo has since found their mojo with the Wii & DS Era, and Mario Bros Wii is not exception. It’s looking good from here and I want to give it a try.
